My 10mm BKC German Collection
I started collecting 10mm WW2 figures in August 2008 after buying a boxed German Battlegroup from Magister Militum at the Britcon show held in Manchester, England.
Without having a clue as to what I was buying or how useful it was going to be I intended this boxed set to form the basis of my German collection. At this time I didn't know the difference between an SdKfz and a Pz or between an Opel Blitz and a Kubelwagon so I was a complete newbie.
It was always my intention to concentrate my efforts on collecting forces for the Eastern Front. However, when I subsequently found out that the colour of late Eastern Front forces were the same as those in NW Europe I decided to expand my collection to include that Theatre of operations as well.
We have severely underestimated the Russians, the extent of the country and the treachery of the climate. This is the revenge of reality.

If you want to win the battle then you better have the better tanks, they can make the difference between success and failure in combat.

The Russian colossus...has been underestimated by us...whenever a dozen divisions are destroyed the Russians replace them with another dozen.
